When Coralie helped me to create my garden, it was important to me that it gave me an outdoor space where I can sit in the shade, grow some of my favourite blooms, herbs and a few vegetables and I get lots of butterflies and bees visiting. I even have two of my favourite trees. My garden is easy for me to maintain. My cat has a safe place to sleep in the shade during the summer and keep protected in the winter. My garden is small but I enjoy keeping it just the way I like it which gives me so much pleasure. Coralie happily shares her extensive knowledge of plants and their needs when working in partnership with those who engage Irresistible Outdoors to improve or transform a given space, be it a small courtyard, large garden or a more commercial area. Using detailed plans, books or online resources and constant discussion ideas evolve. One of her many skills is being able to envisage the result, even if the client cannot. At all times, whilst she may lead the client to think outside the box, Coralie will always consider the brief, the budget and the capacity for maintenance. Coralie will not only advise but dig, prune, saw, weed, plant – whatever needs doing.
I worked alongside Coralie on a very regular basis in my own garden. It was such a happy experience. I eagerly looked forward to her visits. I now grow plants I had never considered, am far better at pruning for good fruiting, make excellent compost and different design choices.
